Objective

The student is able to use the main searching tools and use them in different contexts. The student knows the main types of different information sources and memory organizations.

Content

The theoretical framework and foundations of information retrieval. The basic methods of web searching. The main types of information sources. Memory organizations (libraries, archives and museums) in society.
