Objective

Upon completion of the course, students will know how to facilitate aged people's meaningful daily life with help of gerontological knowledge. Students will learn to plan, implement and evaluate the care of aged people in home-like settings, ensuring clients' self-determination and social engagement. Students evaluate their development needs.

Content

Practical training in residential care for aged clients. Supporting ability to function, rehabilitative approach to work, participatory methods.
