Objective

After completing the course, students will
- be able to communicate as experts in various multicultural work environments
- be able to produce appropriate texts in their work, taking into account the style and accessibility of factual texts
- will be able to draft instructional texts taking into account the latest standards and practices in their field
- be able to critically and reasonably evaluate and apply research data in their field
- be able to write scientific texts with sources and references
- be able to update their job search documents
- be able to use artificial intelligence responsibly in drafting and finalizing texts.
- be able to communicate about responsibility and the benefits of sustainable development in working life.

Content

Communication in projects and research and development tasks, communication in a multicultural environment, instructional texts, argumentation, goal-oriented discussions, accessible documents and document standards, research writing, review of job search documents and steps. Communicating responsibility and the benefits of sustainability in working life.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Satisfactory 1–2:
The student is able to produce comprehensible texts, but there is much room for improvement in terms of form and style. Argumentation is lacking. The use of artificial intelligence is not marked appropriately, and its use is not justified. The student's activity in meetings is modest.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Good 3–4:
The student is able to produce accessible texts, but the argumentation is somewhat lacking. The student is able to apply the appropriate standard to the subject matter in their assignments. The use of artificial intelligence is partially marked appropriately, and its use is justified. The student has returned all assignments on time and has actively participated in meetings.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Excellent 5:
The student is able to produce high-quality and accessible texts. The student is able to argue. The student is able to apply the appropriate standard to the subject matter in their assignments. The use of artificial intelligence is appropriately indicated and justified. The student has submitted all assignments on time and actively participated in meetings.
