Objective

Upon completion of the course, students will understand the essential concepts and calculation methods used in theoretical electrical engineering. They will acquire a general view of the possibilities of electronics in mechanical engineering applications. Students will know the more important components used in electronics and have command of the basic dimensioning and calculations of them.

Content

- Basics in electrical engineering and methods of calculation
- Basic structures and features of various types of motors
- Basic components of electronics: diodes, transistors, operation amplifiers and their operating principles, basic circuits in analog technology

There is an exam at the end of the course. Participation in laboratory exercises is mandatory.
