Objective
In this program, students from Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences (SeAMK) and Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU), will learn and experience healthcare and nursing. Main focus is health promotion in various fields of nursing and technology used in those fields. We will also study cultures and lifestyles of each country.
Content
Health promotion and self-care support in gerontological nursing, Impact of patient's age, cultural background, live situation and service settings on gerontological nursing. Technology used in gerontological nursing. Also brief overview of maternity and child care clinics.
Teaching methods
Preliminary task, workshops, lectures, discussions, independent studies.
