Objective

Students learn approaches and methods for worklife development. In their development and project work, they will learn to combine practice and research innovatively. Together with worklife representatives/clients, they will plan, implement and evaluate ethically sound action research based on worklife needs.

Content

A development and innovation project as action research: idea, project task/question and aim, project process, research methods and material, evaluation and conclusions.

Grade 5
Students analyse approaches and methods for worklife development. They know how to plan a development project in collaboration with worklife representatitives/aged clients. Students can give an example of seeking project funding. They are able to analyse knowledge produced by various methods during action research and they know how to justify, evaluate and report on the process, its research aspect and development proposals.

Grade 3
Students compare approaches and methods for worklife development. They are able to name one source of funding. They apply an action research approach to development and they know how to justify and report on the process, its research aspect and development proposals.

Grade 1
Students are able to describe one approach or method for worklife development. They apply an action research approach to development and they know how to report on the results.
