Objective
Students know how to explain the contents of the concept and theoretical background of psychosocial work. Students plan and implement activities in which they apply methods of psychosocial work. They are able to apply principles of empowering work in practice and analyse challenges in the use of these methods.

Students are able to analyse and evaluate the meaning, potential and practices of psychosocial work in promoting older people's health and wellbeing.
Grade 3
Students know how to compare various practices in psychosocial work and examine their meaning in promoting older people's health and wellbeing.
Grade 1
Students know how to describe practices in psychosocial work and their meaning in promoting older people's health and wellbeing.
Qualifications
Major part of the Knowledge foundation for gerontological work and health and social service systems must be completed before this course. Preventive and empowering work with the elderly.
