Objective

Students will be able to name factors that influence children's functional capacity and social engagement, with special reference to growth, development and learning. Students will recognize factors that contribute to good family life of children, ensure continuity or cause distress and need for support.

- Factors that influence the growth, development and learning of children
- Factors that influence the wellbeing of children and their families
- The family, day care and foster care as a growth environments for children

Grade 1-2:
Students are able to name factors that influence children's functional capacity and social engagement, with special reference to growth, development and learning. Students recognize factors that contribute to good family life of children, ensure continuity or cause distress and need for support.
Grade 3-4:
Students are able to explain factors that influence children's functional capacity and social engagement with special reference to growth, development and learning. Students know how to explain factors that contribute to good family life of children, ensure continuity or cause distress and need for support at the level of individual, communities and society.
Grade 5:
Students are able to extensively analyse factors that influence children's functional capacity and social engagement, with special reference to growth, development and learning. Students know how to extensively assess factors that contribute to good family life of children, ensure continuity or cause distress and need for support at the level of individual, communities and society.

Qualifications

The course is intended for those students, who have alreade completed or will complete their sector studies during the academic year 2013-2014. (Students cannot choose literature from their own sector). Choose one of the exam days.
