Objective

Students will learn to
- use post-production to correct mistakes made during filming scenes
- edit a video film according to the laws of drama
- conduct secondary colour correction on video films
- make the necessary sound corrections

Content

The course will discuss the following areas of post-production (also see learning outcomes):
- Editing according to the laws of drama
- Secondary colour correction
- Invisible corrective effects

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Grade 1 In relation to the learning outcomes, students have passable skills, knowledge and attitudes. Under supervision, they are able to edit videos in a dramaturgically plausible way. With assistance, they can conduct secondary colour correction and use corrective effects (also see assessment methods).

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Grade 3 In relation to the learning outcomes, students have good skills, knowledge and attitudes. When editing videos, they take into account some dramaturgical principles. Students know how to conduct secondary colour correction and how to use corrective effects.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Grade 5 In relation to the learning outcomes, students have excellents skills, knowledge and attitudes. They are able to independently edit video productions according the laws of drama and creatively apply image and sound effects.
