Objective

Students will understand the development phases of the more common field crops, cultivation techniques, and the factors that affect the quantity and quality of harvests. Students will know how to use machinery needed to harvest and process field crops. They will be competent in compiling a cultivation scheme and in making quality analyses. They will also be aware of the significance of the factors associated with quality.

Content

- Principles of the yield of cereal harvests and stages of cereal development
- Cultivation techniques for field crops: cereals, rape seed, peas, grass
