The material for the course can be found in Moodle.
Teaching methods
The course concentrates on the most essential grammatical structures of English Language. First theory on the topics is studied and then the structures are practiced through numerous exercises.
Student workload
21 contact lessons and 40 hours of independent study.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The student has a one-sided command of the basic vocabulary and grammar.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The student has a fairly good command of the vocabulary of standard language. The student uses basic structures of the language almost without mistakes.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The student has a good command of vocabulary and uses structures fluently.
