Objective

Students become familiar with nutrition education as part of health promotion. Students improve their educational skills in nutrition and are able to use versatile teaching methods and materials. He can independently carry out nutrition counselling/guidance situations.

Nutrition councelling project will be done in the co-operation with working life.

Student workload

Total work load 135 h, of which 28 h lessons and 107 h independent work.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is familiar with the principles of nutrition education and is able to apply them in usual situations. He can search for reliable nutrition information and partly use it. He can plan and carry out a nutrition guidance project supported by others. He can partly follow the instructions and operate on schedule.
