Structured documents (3cr)

Objective

The objective of the course is to familiarise the student with the utilisation of structured documents. The students become familiar with the design of structured documents, definition of structure and the basics of XML (eXtensible Markup Language).

Content

Basic features of XHTML, XML, Document Type Definition (DTD), Schema, Style Languages (CSS, XSL)

Qualifications

No previous studies are required.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

- Excellent (5): The student is able to apply XML technologies
excellent
- Good (3-4): The student masters well the principles of the XML technologies
- Satisfactory (1-2) The student knows the basics
