Objective
Students are able to analyze the societies of the Scandinavian countries with particular focus on Sweden. They can list and compare general knowledge of Nordic governments and social systems, such as education and health care, employment and industries. They can list and analyze the Scandinavian media and are able to search and read information on matters related to the above-mentioned subjects in online newspapers. They can also discuss these topics.

Students are able to tell some facts about the political and social systems, employment, industries and media of Nordic societies , with particular focus on Sweden. They use simple structures and limited vocabulary but mistakes disturb understanding. They understand the contents of field -related online texts in part.

Students are able to tell the main points about the political and social systems, employment, industries and media of Nordic societies , with particular focus on Sweden.
They have a satisfactory command of grammatical structures and professional vocabulary.
They understand fairly well the contents of field ?related online texts.

Further information
There are three institutions involved in the Swedish web education programme: Haaga-Helia, Savonia and Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences. Each institution has their own courses, which has approximately 20 of their own students and about 5 students from the other participating institutions.
