Objective

CLINICAL COMPETENCE AND COMPETENCE IN HEALTH PROMOTION

Students will be introduced to the assessment of surgical fitness, to the ASA classification, to balanced and local anesthesia, and to the special features of day surgery. They are able to respond to acute changes in the patient's condition and to administer CPR. They will also study perioperative pain alleviation.

The course discusses the assessment of surgical fitness, the ASA classification, drug care in anesthesiology, balanced and local anesthesia, CPR, and pain control

Students
- are familiar with the assessment of surgical fitness, the ASA classification, balanced and local anesthesia and the special features of day surgery
- are able to respond to acute changes in the patient's condition and to administer CPR
- know how to administer perioperative pain alleviation
