Practical training in Nursing with Children, Adolescents and Families (12cr)

Objective

ETHICAL COMPETENCE, CLINICAL COMPETENCES, COMPETENCE IN HEALTH PROMOTION, COUNSELLING AND MENTORING COMPETENCE

Students are able to connect with, nurse and counsel healthy, ill and disabled children and youth of all ages and their families in their various life situations and health changes. The work may take place in various care and nursing settings.

Content

This practical training 12 cr, may take place e.g. in daycare centres, outpatient clinics, paediatric wards, in the area of obstetrics, in child health clinics, in units providing specialised services for children and youth, or in projects, organisations, and voluntary work.

The same criteria as for courses Reproductive Health and Pediatric Nursing

The same literature and material as in the theory course.
