Objective
CLINICAL COMPETENCE AND COMPETENCE IN HEALTH PROMOTION
Students know the anatomy and physiology of the reproductive organs and study common problems and complications in pregnancy, delivery and puerperium. They will learn about common infections, cancer, endometriosis and contraception.
Content
The course discusses the anatomy and physiology of the reproductive organs, common problems during pregnancy, labour and puerperium, infections, cancer, endometriosis, and contraception.

- are able to plan, implement and evaluate comprehensive gynecological nursing care of women on excellent level,
utilising their knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of reproductive organs
- have excellent knowledge of problems and complications during pregnancy, labour and puerperium
- have excellent knowledge of common infections, cancers and endometriosis and understand how they affect a woman's life
- have excellent knowledge of various forms of contraception.

- are able to plan, implement and evaluate gynecological nursing care of women,
utilising their knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of reproductive organs
- have good knowledge of problems and complications during pregnancy, labour and puerperium
- have good knowledge of common infections, cancers and endometriosis and understand how they affect a woman's life
- have good knowledge of various forms of contraception.

- are not able to plan, implement or evaluate gynecological nursing care of women and have little knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of reproductive organs
- are not familiar with common problems or complications during pregnancy, labour and puerperium
- do not no know common gynaecological diseases and have limited knowledge of various forms of contraception.
