Objective
Students know the key issues in operations management in practice and coordination of human work both inside and outside the organization
Students know the importance to understand the role of operations management in the overall business strategy of the firm and to understand the interdependence of the operating system with other key functional areas of the firm. The student also knows to understand the application of operations management policies and techniques to the service sector as well as manufacturing firms.
