Objective

Students are able to draw up the necessary calculations for setting up an enterprise. He can use a spreadsheet program by formulating the phase calculations. Students are able to draw up the financial and profitability calculations of the business plan. He can also use cost-volume-profit calculations as a tool of pricing the product or service.

Basic concepts in financial planning, financial calculation of the business plan, profitability calculations of the business plan, basics of pricing, taxation of firms

Qualifications

No previous studies are required.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Exellent (5): Students are able to draw up the financial and profitability calculations of the business plan. He can use a spreadsheet program by formulating the phase calculations. He can also use cost-volume-profit calculations as a tool of pricing the product or service.

Good (4-3): Students are able to draw up the essential parts of the financial and profitability calculations. He can use a spreadsheet program by formulating the phase calculations. He knows the basic concept of the cost-volume-profit analysis.

Satisfactory (2-1): Students are able to draw up the necessary calculations for setting up an enterprise. He can use a spreadsheet program by formulating the phase calculations. He is familiar with the basic key ratios of the cost-volume-profit analysis.
