Concrete Structures (4cr)

Objective

The student deepens the skills in designing concrete structures and obtains skills to design demanding concrete structures. The objective is to obtain level AA qualifications in concrete structure design.

Content

Design of concrete structures in accordance with Euro codes (basic dimensioning also revised). Reinforcing of framework. Prestressed structures. Concrete technology for special structures.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Assessment on scale 1-5.

Materials

Euro codes and their national instructions, where applicable. The teacher´s own material.

Teaching methods

Blende learning, lectures and assignments.
