Introduction to technical studies (1cr)

Objective

Upon completion of the course, students will know the duties of engineers in their chosen field. They will be able to plan the courses they should take to complete their degree and utilise modern information retrieval methods. The course also teaches students how to cultivate their learning skills.

Content

Nature and duties associated with automation or information technology engineering, structure of the degree programme and degree, compilation of a personal study plan, familiarisation with and using the library services, developing learning skills
