Objective

Student will be competent in obtaining information from different field-related sources. They will recognise the types of machines used on construction sites and know how to use them.

Content

- Sources of information in the field of construction
- Building technology and names of the parts of buildings
- Hoisting and transfering machines, excavation machines, scaffolding and hydraulic platform machines, common machines on working sites, pumps, conveyors
- Acquiring information about machines
- Perspectives pertaining to occupational safety

Qualifications

No previous studies are required.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

1 Student knows the basics of the course.
3 Student knows the contents of the course well.
5 Student knows the contents of the course well and can apply their knowledge in practice.
