Objective

Students will have command of the proportioning of concrete and the use of additives as well as producing, processing and casting of concrete, as well as the after-treatment of concrete in various types of weather. They will be familiar with issues pertaining to quality control and be competent in performing related calculations.

- Properties of concrete mass
- Production and processing techniques
- Casting techniques and curing of concrete
- Managing the conditions on the building site during seasonal changes
- Monitoring the development of strength
- Methods in quality control and the properties they test
- Classification of environmental conditions
- Qualifications required for materials and employees

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

1 Student knows the basics of the course.
3 Student knows the contents of the course well.
5 Student knows the contents of the course well and can apply their knowledge in practice.
