Objective

Upon completion of the course, students will,
- understand the basics of hydraulics.
- understand how the common components functions
- know the basics of system planning and calculation.
- be able to choose suitable hydraulic systems to use.

Content

- Basic theory of hydraulics
- Pressure generators, controllers and regulating devices
- Structure and function of components
- System planning, choosing and dimensioning components

No previous studies are required.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Level 1-2: The student knows the basic theory and calculation and components

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Level 3-4: The student can choose a system suitable to the conditions

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Level 5: The student can design and can dimension the system
