Objective

The student accurately describes the standards and regulations related to machine safety. The student reproduces the design principles of a safe control system. The student performs risk assessment and selects suitable components for a safety-related control system.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The student provides an in-depth description of the standards and regulations related to machine safety. The student independently and accurately applies the design principles of a safe control system. The student performs risk assessment and component selection for a safety-related control system even in cases not previously presented during the course.
