Objective

After completing the course, students will be able to:
- explain the significance of performance in the work of a cultural producer
- prepare for various performance situations in working life (e.g., hosting, speeches, media encounters), including online
- analyze voice use, body language, and performance confidence
- give and receive feedback on performance
- perform appropriately, naturally, and confidently for different audiences

Theory of performing
Controlling performance anxiety
Nonverbal communication for performers
Imagery and relaxation exercises to help performers
Various performance situations in working life and practical exercises
Performing live and online in front of a camera and microphone
Giving and receiving feedback
Reflecting on your own skills

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is able to perform in front of an audience. However, their performance is still unstructured and uncertain. They make little use of feedback.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student knows how to prepare for various work-related presentation situations, performs naturally and appropriately in them, and knows how to use feedback to develop their skills.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student encourages and supports other students. He or she demonstrates confidence and situational awareness. His or her performance is convincing, impressive, and appropriate for the professional role. The use of feedback is evident in clear skill development.
