Objective
After completing the course, the student is able to explain what kinds of skills are needed when guiding children. They can interpret a child’s developmental stage and choose appropriate guidance methods for that stage, as well as distinguish between individual and group guidance. They can identify features related to guiding special groups. Upon completion of the course, the student recognizes the importance of planning in guidance situations. The student has the ability to plan, implement, and evaluate a plan in a practical guidance situation within a library environment.

The course is considered successfully completed when the student is able to explain the differences between individual guidance and group guidance, as well as the impact of a child's developmental stage on guidance situations. They can identify the needs of special groups. Students can valuate guidance situations and recognize effective guidance practices. They can plan a guidance situation and produce and assess it.
