Objective
The student is able to:
- identify regulations and guidelines concerning medication
- identify different forms of medication, their methods of administration, and the stages and effects of medication in the body
- explain the principles of correct and careful storage, handling, and disposal of medication in pharmaceutical services.
- search for and evaluate medical information
- know the basics of safe medication
- be familiar with the special issues of medication for social services client groups
- as a member of a multidisciplinary team, guide clients and their loved ones in medication.

The student recognizes regulations and guidelines concerning medication and key concepts related to medication. She/he recognize different forms of medication and methods of administration and know how to handle medications correctly and carefully. Student can describe the importance of multidisciplinary cooperation in planning and implementing medication for clients.

The student recognizes regulations and guidelines concerning medication and key concepts related to medication. He/she recognizes different forms of medication and methods of administration and knows how to store and handle medication correctly and carefully. The student knows how to search for information about medication. He/she recognize the special characteristics of medication related to the clients in the social services.
