Objective

The student is able to plan business operations. The student can describe the importance of the operating environment in business planning. The student is able to prepare a business plan and work in a team. The student is familiar with basic legal concepts. The student can explain the role of accounting in business. The student can prepare simple budgets and knows the key factors affecting a company's profitability. The student can identify enterprise resource planning systems. The student is able to explain the importance of marketing in business. The student recognizes the characteristics of a marketer. The student can create a marketing-oriented business idea and identify ways to generate customer value. The student is familiar with key business information sources and knows how to use them. The student knows the company’s stakeholders and the importance of networking in business. The student is able to prepare business letters and make use of them in commercial activities.
