Objective

The aim of the course is to give the student versatile skills to utilize digital solutions, such as applications, social media tools and information retrieval systems in library work. The training aims to give a comprehensive picture of the possibilities of using digital tools in the library's marketing and communication. In addition to key technical solutions, the emphasis is primarily on issues of content production.

- Knowledge of social media functionality
- Utilization of images, text and video in the library's social network
- Improving information search skills
– Information seeking in a digital environment
- The library as a producer of digital material
- Creative Commons licenses

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student has participated in the lesson and completed the tasks with sufficient skill. The student knows the basics.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student is able to independently produce online services and innovate new content. He has a good command of the key methods.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student has innovative thinking and makes new creative solutions in the production of content units. He is capable of versatile use of different equipment and produces images, sound and text flawlessly.
