Students will acquire a comprehensive understanding of pig husbandry and competence to work as entrepreneurs or in consulting work.

Current issues in pig nutrition and management, breeding and preventive health care

Qualifications

Common basic studies on animal production

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Acceptable level: The student is able to plan feeding of different pig groups, is able to select animals for breeding and to plan preventive health care and is able to participate professional discussions regarding pig production.
