Objective
The student knows the basics of  German pronunciation. They know how to introduce themselves and another person and how to greet people. 
They are able to handle situations when shopping or ordering food and drinks in a café or restaurant. They are able to tell about their daily lives and studies and write simple messages. 
The student knows indefinite and definite articles and the cases nominative and accusative. They can use numbers and time expressions, weekdays, months, and seasons. 
They are able to make questions and build simple main clauses.  
They are able to express what they like and want. 
The students can act in situations in which cultural differences count.
They can tell about Finland in German.
