Objective

The student understands the management of an agricultural enterprise as a whole-farm business. The student embodies the importance of comprehensive whole-farm management covers both long-term and short-term management, where the long-term goals are carried out through the short-term management.

Content

Comprehensive management includes strategic thinking and planning, defining strategy as a state of will, i.e. mission, strategy implementation, control, and, if necessary, strategy renewal and operational management

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Assessment: Passed / failed
The student masters whole-farm management and decision making and is able to apply the knowledge in practice. She/He is able to utilize management tools and analyze the alternative operations models and alternative ways of action.
