Objective

Students will learn a systematic procedure for developing a high-quality whole-farm plan. Students will also understand the policies behind EU funding and how changes in the operating environment affect the whole-farm plan and the choices a farmer or rancher makes.

Introduction to agribusiness, Agricultural production economics, Management and decision making

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Student can basics of planning procedure, the aims and possibilities for production, identify technical coefficients and price, estimate gross margins, choose the enterprise combination, sensitivity analysis and result, profitability and solidity calculations and interpretation
