Bachelor's Thesis Plan (6cr)

Objective

Students are able to contribute to development, innovation and research processes in collaboration with work life. They critically evaluate and use scientific publications in planning their Bachelor's Thesis. Students know how to use evidence-based knowledge in their Thesis plan.

Students actively seek and use scientific knowledge in decision-making, in other nursing duties and in their Bachelor's Thesis. Students know how to seek information from commonly used health science databases.

Content

Choosing the topic, defining the scope and writing a research plan for the Bachelor's Thesis.

Use of library and information services while planning Bachelor`s Thesis. Using the most important health science data bases.

Qualifications

Research and Development Methods.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Written in common assessment criterias of Bachelor`s Thesis in Seinäjoki UAS.

Assessment criterias written in the study entity of Evidence-Based Nursing.

Will be announced in the course implementation plan.
