Objective

Sociocultural event: Students will
- learn to recognise participatory methods and become aware of the meaning of facilitation
- understand the meaning of interventions in sociocultural work
- select a target group and produce a participatory event together with the group

Content

Working in small groups, students will arrange a sociocultural event. During the production, students will become familiar with participatory methods.

Customer-oriented planning
Event settings and environment
Marketing and communication in cultural management
Sponsorhip and corporate cooperation
Idea generation tools in planning productions (partly simultanously)

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Grade 1: Under supervision, students are able to produce a sociocultural event.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Grade 3: Students understand the special characteristics of sociocultural events. They know how to draw up viable production plan and produce the events on the basis of the plans.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Grade 5: Students understand the special characteristics of sociocultural events. They know how to draw up viable production plans and produce the event on the basis of the plans. In the sociocultural event, the outcome is representative of a participatory approach.
