Objective

Students will master the basics of control technology and be able to apply the control theory to practical control systems. Students will learn to design control systems for different purposes. They will also be able to tune control systems.

Content

Basics of control technology, - Transfer function, - Controller blocks in time domains, - Control loop tuning, - Structure and the types of controllers, - Designing a control systems

Qualifications

No previous studies are required.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Excellent (5) The student can utilize learned skills in demanding projects.
Good (3-4) The student masters well principles of control system design and tuning.
Satisfactory (1-2) The student knows the basics.
