Objective

Students:
- know the typical sport injuries
- are able to prevent sport injuries
- can examine people who have sport injuries and plan progressive therapeutic exercise programs for those people
- are able to use the appropriate adhesive tape the performance of their sports injuries

Content

- typical sport injuries
- prevention of sport injuries
- physical therapy managements of sport injuries
- basic principles of taping

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Pass:

Students
- are able to list the different prevention levels of sports injuries
- are able to name the most common sports injuries
- know broadly what are the causes of physical injuries
- are able to plan at least a rough estimate of the number of training programs in various injuries
- know the indications and contraindications of taping and know how to handle tape
- write a lecture diary based on the instructions

Fail:

Students:
- are not able to list the different prevention levels of sports injuries
- can name only few common sport injuries
- does not know what are the causes of physical injuries
- are not be able to design training programs for different injuries
- does not know the taping indications or contraindications, and cannot correctly handle the adhesive tape
- write a lecture diary, which does not comply with the instructions set for it
