From an Idea to a Business (2cr)

Objective

The study module aims to be a guided development process for a student. The optimal result of the process is to create a product, service or business idea which generates new businesses with commercial potential. During the process the student and the coaching team try to find out new, innovative elements to his/her business idea. If needed Protomo services, Tuoteväylä financing instrument or SeAMK Enterprise Team is available to promote the development process.
After the innovation and development process of her/his own idea the student is more able to make profitable business of a more or less innovative new ideas. The student understands also that it is important to discuss with external experts to get a more extensive impression of the development process.

Content

The content of the study module is to start and finish a guided development process to do business with a more or less innovative product, service or business idea.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The course is assesses on pass/fail basis.
