Course unit code: KL04BT40122
General information
- Credits
- 3 cr
Objective
Students will be able to apply the structures and opportunities of electronics and embedded systems. They will be competent in connecting and soldering electronic components, and they will understand the functions of a micro-controller. Students will also be familiar with hardware-oriented programming.
Content
Students will assemble an intelligent electronic device, which contains a micro-controller with various inputs and outputs connected to it. Students will solder the components themselves, test the connections and create a simple programming code according to given instructions.
Qualifications
No previous studies are required.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
1: Student assembles an electronic device and understand something of its functions.
3: Student assembles an electronic device, understand the function of all components, can program following examples and writes a measurement report about the most work phases.
5: Student can also find and correct errors, can program independently and write an extensive measurement report about the all work phases.
Materials
The necessary material can be found online. Material will also be distributed during the lessons.
