Objective

Student understands the meaning of quantitative research and is able to apply it in researchand development activities.

Content

Research designs, concepts used in research and theoretical frameworks. Different data sets and their analysis and interpretation.

Qualifications

No previous studies are required.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Grade 1-2
Student is able to describe the principles and stages of quantitative research

Grade 3-4
Student is be able to compare the different types of quantitative research and is able to choose suitable methods for different aims.

Grade 5
Student is able to critically analyse the different types of quantitative research and know how to use different methods of quantitative research.
