Objective

Students
- Understand that Occupational Physiotherapy is part of occupational health services and occupational well-being, as well as are aware of the governing legislation.
- Are able to observe ergonomic and / or work-related stress problems and identify improvement suggestions.
- Are able to summarize and report, together with other occupational health care staff on alone, the main aspects of a work place survey related to ergonomics and physical work strain.
- Are able to counsel and function in patient transfers according to ergonomic principles.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is able to:
- Use the well-being and ergonomics- related professional core concepts, as well as to explain and justify the choices made regarding the customer's needs, using a limited knowledge base.
- Work in various operational environments both partly assisted and independently, applying the work and research methods appropriately and safely.
- Take into account ergonomic aspects, under guidance.
- Evaluate their own actions briefly.
- Work with commitment promoting the activities of the group.
- Report the results of an ergonomics survey.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student is able to:
- Use the well-being and ergonomics-related professional core concepts, as well as to explain and justify the choices made regarding the customer's needs, using a comprehensive knowledge base.
- Work in various operational environments independently, applying the work and research methods appropriately and safely.
- Take into account ergonomic aspects.
- Evaluate and develop their own work systematically.
- Work with commitment promoting the activities of the group.
- Report the results of an ergonomics survey fairly.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is able to:
- Use the well-being and ergonomics- related professional core concepts, as well as to explain and justify the choices made regarding the customer's needs, using a comprehensive knowledge base within a variety of changing operational environments.
- Work in various operational environments independently and professionally, applying the work and research methods appropriately and safely.
- Take into account in a versatile way the ergonomic aspects of continuously changing and unpredictable situations.
- Evaluate and develop their own work systematically and critically.
- Work in different situations with commitment in order to promote group activities and renews professional practice.
- Report the results of an ergonomics survey fairly, including the suggested adjustments, in order to develop the course of action together with the working community.
