Descriptions

In the Sports Business study module, new perspectives on sports are explored, including aspects of busines, leadership, marketing, social media and technology. Students will learn to describe the significance of sports and physical activity at individual and societal levels, as well as deepen their understanding of various stakeholders in the sports industry. Additionally, the study module focuses in rand building and marketing, various aspects of sports technology, and financial management for individual athletes and sports organizations.

The study module provides an opportunity to understand and utilize the diverse dimensions of sports and provides students with tools for developing the field. The skills offered by the study module are beneficial, for example, in individual sports, in management roles within sports organizations, in the operation of sports clubs, and in the organization of sports events.
