The student has sufficiently participated in contact studies and completed the assignments included in the course and passed a possible exam 
The student is able to describe orally and in writing the theoretical basis of information retrieval.  
The student knows the basic use of different search methods  
The student is able to be source-critical to different materials  
The student knows the key functions of different memory organizations  
The student knows the basics of information organization

Student’s participation has been active in contact studies and part-time studies the student is able to use different application methods fluently 
The student is able to take an analytical and source-critical approach to different materials  
The student is able to apply theories in practice  
The student is able to utilize memory organizations in a variety of ways in information retrieval  
The student is able to apply the basics of information organization in practice

The student has actively participated in the course and its various forms of work  
The student has a good overall understanding of the theoretical foundations of information retrieval and is able to apply them in practice  
The student is able to search for information in a variety of ways using different tools  
The student is able to take a critical and analytical approach to different source materials and consider the motivational basis for their production  
The student masters the construction of memory organizations and is able to use them fluently in different search situations
