Children’s Literature as a Professional Tool (3cr)

Objective

After completing the course, the student is able to select children's literature according to customer needs and the guidance method used. They can discuss children's literature with other students. The student has the ability to evaluate collections of children's literature.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The course is considered successfully completed when the student is able to select children's literature based on client needs and the guidance method used. The student engages in meaningful discussions about children's literature with fellow students. The student is capable of evaluating collections of children's literature. They can explain the significance of the national special task related to library services that promote reading among children and youth, particularly in the context of children's library work and collection development.
