Mathematics, preparatory course (2cr)

Objective

A student controls different kind of mathematical expressions like rational expressions and polynomials. He/she can solve equations. If a student has a mathematical problem, he is able to make the equation of this problem. He/she masters percenatages and their consepts like basic values, percents and percent units.

- the first degree equations and their solving
- algebraic consepts like power, root and logarithm
- percentages
- sequence of numbers and series

Qualifications

Students don't need previous study.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Pass: the student participates actively in the course and completes the required assignments and exercises.
