Objective

Students will practice the use of the English language as a means of communication throughout their studies and will get constant practice of its use by sorting out studying and living in a new cultural surroundings different from that of their home country and university.

There are several mistakes and mispronunciations in the oral presentation. However, the message is mainly understandable.
The students have a one-sided command of the basic vocabulary and grammar.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

There are a few mispronunciations and grammatical errors in the oral presentation, but the main message comes across. Fluent basic knowledge of the language. Hesitation slows down the speech.
The student has a fairly good command of the vocabulary of their branch as well as standard language. The student uses basic structures of the language almost without mistakes.

There are no mistakes in the oral presentation. The pronunciation and rate of speech is natural. All in all the speech is free and fluent and easy to follow. The student reacts properly when communicating with other people.
