Objective

The student is able to develop and evaluate the activity, quality and impact of occupational health care with respect to current changes and challenges in working life. He / She understands how to manage and co-ordinate activities. The student has marketing skills and is able to assume an entrepreneurial attitude as well as plan, implement and evaluate development projects in the work unit. The student is able to see things from both the client’s and business perspective in an ethically sound way. He/ She knows how to apply, evaluate and develop practices, methods and models using multi-disciplinary knowledge and extend their competence in various sectors.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student knows how to describe activities in occupational health care, including current work life changes and challenges. He/ She knows what practices and methods are used to promote health, work ability and wellbeing at work. The student is also able to evaluate the impact of occupational health care on work ability from the perspective of clients and businesses.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student knows how to compare practices and methods used in occupational health service to respond to current work life changes and challenges. The student is also able to evaluate the impact of occupational health care on work ability from the perspective of clients and businesses.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is able to analyze and evaluate (also critically) practices and methods used in occupational health services to respond to current work life changes and challenges. The student is also able to analyze and evaluate the impact of occupational health care on health promotion, work ability and wellbeing at work from the perspective of clients and businesses.
