Objective

The student deepens the knowledge on the physical functions of structures concerning heat, moisture and sound and knows how to design complicated structures accordingly. The student knows how to model the physical functions in buildings using computer applications. The student also knows how to use various measuring techniques and devices. The student can control the design of the buildings that present a challenge from the point of view of building physics.

- Thermal and moisture flow in 2- and 3-dimensional space.
- Study of unstationary situations.
- The moisture behavior of materials and the impact of moisture on the properties of materials.
- Acoustics and vibration. Building physical measurements. Computer applications.
