Objective

The student:
- deepens his/ her own nursing skills in accordance with the nature of the internship.
- acts professionally and in accordance with the ethical principles of nursing.
- looks for evidence-based information to justify his / her actions.
- knows how to plan, implement and evaluate the client's / patient's nursing work.
- deepens his / her skills in oral and written reporting.
- deepens his / her expertise in medical treatment.
- can evaluate his / her own professional development.

Content

Plan for practical training. Work placement and the period of the work. Working period at least 8 weeks. Written report. Workplace references. 120- 140 ECTS credits.
This practical training period is undertaken in collaboration with work life or during international exchange programmes or in another way, as agreed with the lecturer. Assignments.
A) International exchange as a training opportunity. The student must have completed 120 credits before the international exchange.
A separate plan is made for student exchange.

B) If the internship takes place at the student's own workplace, the student must fill the study plan in Intra.
The student must have completed 140 ECTS and have a valid nurse's employment contract so that the student can study the optional internship.
An advance plan showing the place of work and the time interval. Written report. A certificate of employment.
Internship assignments.

Qualifications

The student has completed 120-140 ECTS credits of Nursing studies depending on implementation.

The student achieves the outcomes of the practical training.
The learning outcomes, implementation and evaluation are described and reported.
The assignments are accepted.

Fail = 0
The student
- inadequately describes the learning objectives, implementation and evaluation of the practical training.
- does not achieve the learning objectives for practical training.
- the assignments are missing.
